The CHOBA Board, along with the Clerk and the Head Master, exists to offer direction, support and focus to the CHOBA’s activities.

Left CH in '88 and spent the year working for a firm of Actuaries, followed by a trek round Nepal, India and the Far East. Returned to London and spent 4 years at University, completing a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Business Administration. After working in Sussex & Taiwan for a small, high-tec manufacturing company, joined Unilever in 1996. Spent 11 years in the Unilever's business-to-business arm, the last 5 as Global Innovation and Marketing Director based in Switzerland. Returned to the UK and now live in Barns Green with my Dutch wife Alexandra. Formed a start-up company in 2007 with an old University friend focusing on Aquisitions & Divestments in the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industries. CH Governor.

Durham University 2000–04 (Economics with French) including a year as an Erasmus exchange student at the “Université d’Aix-Marseille II”. Working for HM Treasury, currently on secondment and living in Brussels

A graduate of Worcester College Oxford, the Royal Academy of Music and the Royal College of Music. A Fellow of the Royal College of Organists. His enthusiasm for teaching and communication led him to set up Conducting Business which demonstrates Management Development and Leadership issues in the context of music making. Compositions include the highly acclaimed music for young people, On This Rock and Make More Sail – The Story of Trafalgar’s Signals.

Following CH: various universities meeting with varying degrees of success. After a brief dabble with the law, taught history and political philosophy as well as trying hand at yacht charter/importation and A-level examination reform. At this point (life having rather suddenly slipped by), retired.
Currently Chair of TATOC (Timeshare Association) with 250,000 members, and Musical Director of Redruth Choral Society with 22. Married to Judith with four children: two girls (41 and 39) and two boys (18 and 14). Jonathan has recently left Christ’s Hospital and Oliver hopes to be there soon.

After leaving CH spent 10 years in Chemistry - 6 years at The University of Nottingham gaining a PhD, followed by 4 at ICI Dulux . Then seduced into Sales and Marketing, spending 17 of the last 20 years working for large organisations including The Post Office and The Open University, with 2 years living in Germany coinciding with the Berlin Wall coming down. Now running own company in Berkshire for the last 3 years and enjoying the change from corporate life. Married to Emma for 19 years. Main interests for last 15 years have centred around Round Table and associated friends, travelling the world and a so far fruitless attempt to improve golf handicap.

2 brothers, 2 sisters (of whom Richard, BaB/MidA 63–70 and Josephine, 6’s 66–71 at CH). In 2003 took over as editor of the Old Blue section of ‘the Blue’. From 1973 worked throughout Central America and Europe for Lloyds Bank, ending in Buenos Aires as a Senior Administration Manager. Early retirement in 2001; relocated to Spain. Married to a Costa Rican, 2 children, 2 grandchildren.

A spell in the Civil Service followed CH.
But, for the last 24 years, has worked in financial services industry. At KPMG since 2001, providing advice to banks, building societies and other lenders, stockbrokers, life insurers, brokers and Independent Financial Advisers.
Married to Sue for 25 years with two sons aged 19 and 16. The family moved to live near Manchester in 1992 from London and has just about become used to the weather.
A side-drummer and timpanist at CH & a founder member of the St Louis Jazz Band! In recent years playing in a North West covers band and has provided percussion for a Church Choral Society in performing works for music festivals etc.

Joint organiser of the North West Old Blues since 1998, organising Lake District lunches and Cheshire-based Founder’s Day dinners.

Has an MBA from the University of East Anglia, and is currently studying for an MSc in Human Resource Management at Manchester Business. Long and varied career mainly in the public sector and most recently in the NHS. Currently Director of Performance at Sussex Partnership NHS Trust which provides mental health services across the whole of Sussex. Has two boys at CH, both in Mid. A - both play rugby for the school so often supporting from the sidelines.
Lives In Horsham.

Studied French at Lausanne University and then law at College of Law, London. After Articles and then mainstream legal recruitment, joined major firm of London solicitors, working in senior appointment recruitment and general HR. Left in 1996 to set up own consultancy in Human Resources and executive search, predominantly in law, public sector (charities) and, more recently, art. CH Governor, BSB Director, Chair of BSB Presentations Committee, Steward of Founder’s Day. 1992–95 Aston University (Manufacturing Systems Engineering); then Manufacturing Systems Engineer at GEC Meters, Staffordshire. 1997 joined RM plc, leading supplier of IT solutions to education. Various management positions, recently taking over the Customer Support Department, with offices in Abingdon, Scotland and India.
Been on the board since the beginning. Member of BSB. Started Unofficial CH Forum website, www.chforum.info to develop and energise CH/Old Blue relations. Interests: clay shooting & field sports, singing, rugby, GCSE Maths coaching, web site design and all things IT.
