Left CH in '88 and spent the year working for a firm of Actuaries, followed by a trek round Nepal, India and the Far East. Returned to London and spent 4 years at University, completing a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry & Business Administration. After working in Sussex & Taiwan for a small, high-tec manufacturing company, joined Unilever in 1996. Spent 11 years in the Unilever's business-to-business arm, the last 5 as Global Innovation and Marketing Director based in Switzerland. Returned to the UK and now live in Barns Green with my Dutch wife Alexandra. Formed a start-up company in 2007 with an old University friend focusing on Aquisitions & Divestments in the Chemical & Pharmaceutical Industries. CH Governor.

Following CH: various universities meeting with varying degrees of success. After a brief dabble with the law, taught history and political philosophy as well as trying hand at yacht charter/importation and A-level examination reform. At this point (life having rather suddenly slipped by), retired.
Currently Chair of TATOC (Timeshare Association) with 250,000 members, and Musical Director of Redruth Choral Society with 22. Married to Judith with four children: two girls (41 and 39) and two boys (18 and 14). Jonathan has recently left Christ’s Hospital and Oliver hopes to be there soon.
