Old Blues, their guests and all CHA members are always welcome visitors at Christ’s Hospital, and we're delighted to invite you back this year on Saturday 25th April 2009!

Please note that you must pre-register before the day to let us know you’re coming for security reasons regarding the school, and also because numbers for some activities are limited, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. We will also require numbers on any free activities to assess the viability of running events.

"GRECIANS’ GIFT"

This year's Grecians are hoping to establish a new tradition which they have christened the "Grecians' Gift". The idea is that, as Grecians come to the end of their careers at CH, they recognize 'the great benefits received in this place' by giving something back to the school - something permanent through which they as a year group can make their mark and which will still be standing when, years hence, they return to the school as Old Blues. They have agreed to organize and pay for some ornate planting on the South side of the Garden Quad, with a sundial as a centrepiece.

On Old Blues' Day, Grecians will be setting to work to raise some of the money for their project by organizing a number of activities including a grand rubber duck race, a mini-fête and a cake-stall-cum-tea-room in the garden quad, where plans of their project will be available for inspection. The Grecians hope to be able to present their gift to the school in the last few days of the summer term.
