Following lunch we adjourned to the Doyle kitchen table for a thoughtful discussion about technology in the United Kingdom, how the teaching of Science at Housey during the 100 years since the move had an influence far beyond the school, particularly with Gordon van Praagh's work with the Nuffield Foundation, and how the proposed Design and Technology building might play a similar role in the future.
