Western Australia Old Blues celebrated Founder's Day with a dinner on 13th October 2001 hosted by Sam and Elizabeth Williams. Sam reports that "... one of the reasons for the good percentage attendance at our Founder's Day Dinners each year comes from the support we enjoy from our respective wives and husbands."

Western Old Blues were joined by their honoured guest, Geoff Stearn from Sydney.

Jeremy Lea with his wife Diana have kindly offered to host Western Australia's Founder's Day Dinner next year.
