Cornwall and Devon Old Blues Founder’s Day Lunch – 2006
We had a great day at Lakeview on Sunday. Everyone arrived in time for roll-call except Pat Parritt who arrived after grace to take her seat. Video of Christ’s Hospital was showing on the huge plasma screen in reception as guests entered while music from CH played in the bar area culminating in the band playing Sussex by the Sea – the cue for us to take our seats at the table in the garden room.
James’s talk in the events suite upstairs was excellent and well received with Old Blues giving most generously to the Prince’s Trust. Some Old Blues then adjourned for tea in one of the excellent lodges on the Lakeview complex.
