Rob Gauntlett and James Atkinson Memorial Bike Ride

Earlier this year two young Old Blues, Rob Gauntlett (MaB/GrE 98-05) and James Atkinson (MaB/GrE 99-06), died in a tragic climbing accident in the French Alps. The two 21 year olds, who were best friends at school, were committed to not only making the most of their own lives but also to helping and encouraging others to fulfil their potential.
Between the 3rd and 15th of August 2009 a large group of family, friends and other supporters will be undertaking the 1000 mile cycle from John O’Groats to Land’s End in order to raise money for the Rob Gauntlett Trust and the James Atkinson Bequest.
