Forging Ahead

On 17th January 2006, Paul Middlemiss (Th B 62–68) will be meeting up with Christopher Sholl (Th B more or less the same time-frame) to discuss the possible “way-ahead” for the Germany and Benelux Old Blues’ Section.

For some time now, there has been very little, if any OB activity within this particular Section. A few years ago, Paul Middlemiss (then a serving Lt Col with a NATO HQ in Heidelberg) tried to organise an informal “get-together” but along came another deployment to The Balkans and the scheme was thwarted. It is well known that there is a fair sprinkling of OBs in the greater Germany / Benelux area so, hopefully, this January meeting will be the bearer of future “Housey” fruits.
