Governorship Update - Sept 2004

Dear Old Blue,

This time last year we purchased a further Governors Centenary Presentation (GCP) for five thousand pounds. Presentation will actually take place once we have collected this amount.

A generous Aussie Old Blue underwrote the purchase with an advance of funds and we proceeded on the basis that there were sufficient pledges to enable us to collect and repay him over the next few years.

In January this year $2500 was repaid leaving $728 in the bank account.

Contributions are welcome at any time but Founders Day provides an opportunity to remind those of you who have made pledges and to invite anybody to contribute if they see fit.

If anybody doesn't remember what they pledged then I can of course help in that department as all pledges have been carefully stored!

Donations can be sent c/- Bopha Brabant, Lumley General Insurance Ltd, PO Box Q338, QVB Post Shop NSW 1230. Payee Name - Roger Wickins & Geoffrey Stearn.

Alternatively you can give something to Roger at the Lunch.

I very much look forward to hearing back and seeing some of you at the lunch.

Very kind regards,

David Matcham
