Cornwall (and Devon) Old Blues
After years of ably looking after our interests, Roff Rayner has passed the baton on to me. As you know there are big changes afoot as the CH Club itself becomes merged into a wider Association, so perhaps now is a good time to take stock of our situation.
Those of us fortunate enough to live west of the Tamar may feel that our distance from Housey is itself a good reason to maintain a significant presence in Cornwall. However, this can only work if there is sufficient interest to make it worthwhile.
Accordingly, I would be most grateful if you would be kind enough to let me have your views.

Founder’s Day Lunch – Sunday, November 26th 2006 – Lakeview Country Club, Nr Bodmin
Following lunch, James Hooper gave a presentation. James is a very young Old Blue and the youngest Briton to climb Everest. He planned the expedition when he was meant to be doing his prep in the school library while in his LE year. James has already given talks and presentations all over the UK, as well as in South Africa and he is now touring the USA speaking to many different audiences, so…
The lunch was held under the auspices of the Christ’s Hospital Cruising and Sailing Club and Professor David Taplin, Commodore, was in the Chair.
